Middlesbrough Bus Station is a fantastic place to go bus spotting. It’s big and busy but all the buses enter and exit at one end. The cherry on top being a nice quiet pavement at that end with a lovely railing you can lean on while there. So a lovely quiet spot to stand and a steady stream of buses. What’s not to love? Well, erm, there’s not a high turnover of buses unlike say Newcastle. Which means if you go often you’ll likely see the same vehicles time after time. For this reason we tend to only go when we know there is something new or we’re in the area anyway.
Operator wise you’ll mainly find Arriva and Stagecoach but there are some Go North East and National Express.
